Winter Break
Please note that the Looksee shop will pause order fulfilment between 24th December and 6th January, as I will be on my winter break. There will be delays for anything you order between now and 6th January, including my Handwritten Card Service, so please keep this in mind when ordering. The only product which will not be delayed is giftcards, as these will deliver automatically by email. Please feel free to place orders that you're not in a rush for. What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
Delivery costs are applied at checkout, based on which delivery option you choose, and the weight and size of your order. Use this table as a guide.

How long does delivery take?
Processing time (the time it takes to prepare and package your order) is usually up to 2 business days.
Once your order is in the post, the Royal Mail delivery aim is 1 day for 1st class, and 2-3 days for 2nd class.
Which delivery company do you use?
We use Royal Mail for all our non-local deliveries.
Local deliveries will be delivered by Hannah or Jonathan.
Do I need to be home to receive my order?
Many orders fit through standard letter boxes, so you generally won't need to be home for delivery.
For larger orders, if you're not home, the delivery company will attempt to redeliver your parcel the next working day. If they can't deliver your item, they'll do one of two things:
- they may leave the parcel on your doorstep or at your back door, or in another safe place.
- they may leave a card for you with details, and take the parcel back to the local Customer Service Point. You can then either collect it or arrange a redelivery.
For local deliveries, we aim for letterbox delivery where possible or directly into your hands. If neither option is available, we will try to leave your parcel in a safe place, or will attempt redelivery on the next local delivery date (usually a few days later).
How can I make delivery cheaper?
Get FREE delivery on orders over £30! This offer is applied at checkout.
Get FREE local delivery (approximately Newton Mearns area / G77 Glasgow)
Also we have a special rate just for single cards, so you can get a single card posted 1st Class for £1.90, or 2nd Class for £1.10.
You could also consider batch buying cards for a few months at a time to minimise multiple shipping costs and potentially get free delivery too - it pays off to be organised!
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes we do! We deliver locally 2-3 times per week to the Newton Mearns area / G77 Glasgow area roughly.
Local delivery is FREE!
What is the minimum order value for local delivery?
There is no minimum order value for local delivery, yippee!
What does local delivery cost?
Local delivery to G77 postcodes is FREE!
What days are local deliveries?
Locally deliveries to G77 postcodes are not on specific days, and usually take place 2-3 times per week.
Why isn't local delivery available for me?
Local delivery is available only to postcodes within a few miles of the Newton Mearns Delivery Office, so approximately the Newton Mearns area / G77 Glasgow. If you are outside the local delivery area, please choose another delivery option.
Please select Shop Pay as your payment method for the local delivery option to work.
If you have a G77 address and are using Shop Pay, and are still having problems selecting local delivery, please get in touch - it's possible you're just outside the radius for local delivery.
Do you deliver to PO Boxes?
Yes, we can deliver to Royal Mail PO Boxes.
Help, I've provided incorrect or incomplete delivery information
Please double check your shipping address at checkout, and amend any incorrect or incomplete delivery information so we can send it to you at the correct address.
If you realise you've submitted the wrong address, please contact us as soon as possible - if the order hasn't yet left the studio, we will be able to amend it.
Where is my order?
Please check your order confirmation email to ensure you have provided the correct shipping address at checkout.
Deliveries can take longer during busy times of year.
If your order has not arrived within 14 days of purchase, and for any further questions or support regarding delivery, please contact us for assistance.
When should I allow longer for delivery?
At busy times of year, please allow more time for your order to get to you, as there may be postal delays. Postal delays can be expected around the time of:
- Christmas (November through December)
- Bank holidays
- Black Friday & Cyber Monday
- Postal strikes
Please order in advance of busy periods wherever possible. It really helps to ensure the best possible chance of your delivery arriving in plenty of time and avoiding postal delays.
